Terms of Service

1. The service

VidForge turns a written prompt into a short narrated video using third-party AI services for the script, voice, images and motion, and assembles them with subtitles and music. Output is generated automatically and can be inaccurate, unexpected or imperfect; review it before you publish it.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy credits.
• Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one free account. Creating accounts to collect free credits again is not allowed.

3. Credits and payment

• Videos are paid for with credits. New accounts receive a one-time amount of free credits after confirming their email.
• Credit packs are one-time, prepaid purchases (no subscription). Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page; your bank may convert them to your currency and charge its own fees.
• The exact credit cost of a video is shown before it is made. Credits are only used for work that is actually done; failed steps aren’t charged.
• Purchased credits don’t expire, have no cash value, and can’t be transferred or resold.
• Payments are processed by our reseller and merchant of record (Lemon Squeezy), which also handles sales tax and VAT; its terms apply to the payment itself. We never see or store your card details.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use VidForge to create, or try to create, content that:

• impersonates or depicts a real, identifiable person (including public figures) without their consent, or is a “deepfake” meant to deceive;
• is sexual, or involves minors in any harmful or sexualised way;
• promotes violence, terrorism, hatred or harassment against people or groups;
• is election, political or health misinformation, or is meant to defraud or scam;
• infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
• breaks the law in Pakistan, the UAE, India or where you live.

The AI providers we use apply their own safety filters and may refuse some prompts. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, without refund for credits used on such content.

5. Your content

• You keep the rights you have in your prompts. Subject to these terms and the AI providers’ terms, you may use the videos you make for personal and commercial purposes.
• You give us permission to store and process your prompts and videos to run the service for you. We don’t use them in our marketing without your permission.
• Videos made with VidForge are AI-generated. Where a platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) asks you to label AI-generated content, you are responsible for doing so.
• Background music comes from a licensed library; some tracks (CC BY) require the attribution shown with your video.
• Deleted videos can be restored for 7 days, then they are erased.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep VidForge running but don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features, models and prices may change; a price change never affects credits you already bought.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time on the Account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Unused purchased credits of an account we close without a breach on your side are refunded.
